Many of us know ION Orchard for its endless maze of shops but did you know that you can get a pretty swell view of the Orchard Road Skyline from here too? Zip up to the 55th level of the building where you and your partner can enjoy a dizzying birds-eye view of Orchard from the viewing gallery.

2) Emerald Hill Road
Take a stroll down the gorgeous Emerald Hill and admire the impeccably preserved shophouses that line the street. The area is bursting with history and culture and these pretty little houses make the perfect backdrop for an Instagram-worthy photo. You may even be able to drop some BTO hints to Bae while you guys are there.
3) Grand Park Hotel Orchard
If you’re looking to up your date night into a staycation, we recommend staying at Grand Park Hotel Orchard. 4) HANS IM GLÜCK
If you and your partner are absolute foodies who are just looking for a place to chill over some good food, Hans im Glück is the perfect place to head to. This well-loved German burger bar has an extensive menu filled with Scrumptious eats that will definitely leave your bellies full and happy. In celebration of National Day, they will also be launching a special Singapore inspired menu called Die Die Must Try, which features mouthwatering items such as Beef Rendang Burger, KRABBE Burger and Singapore Rose.

5) Maduro
If you and your partner love jazz, classical music and drinks, you need to check out Maduro, Singapore’s latest live music venue that is tucked away at charming Dempsey Hill. The new listening lounge and bar is helmed by Mr. P, a silver-haired enigma who was one of Singapore’s most sought after pianists in the 80’s. Here, you can treat yourself to some of Scotland’s finest malts, classic cocktails and some of the best wines that have ever existed. There are also varying live music nights with themes such as 1819 Tuesdays, Tiara Friday Club and Saturday’s Best.

6) Museum Hopping
Singapore is home to a plethora of gorgeous museums that are rich in history and information. Most of them are located near town, making them easily accessible for your next museum-hopping date with Bae. For Singaporeans and Permanent Residents, entry to most of these museums is free of charge so you can have a fun day out without burning a hole in your pocket!
7) My Art Space
Release your inner artist by going for an art jam session at My Art Space with your partner. We love how art jams are open sessions which allows you to paint anything we want while allowing all those creative juices to flow. You can even attempt to paint a picture of your partner for keepsakes!

8) Opera Gallery
For art lovers and aficionados, you can always pop by Opera Gallery to appreciate some masterpieces. Here, you can appreciate some works done up by famous artists such as Andy Warhol and Salvador Dali. You can even purchase some of the pieces to add a burst of colour to your home. The gallery is conveniently located at ION Orchard near the taxi stand, so it isn’t hard to locate.

9) Orchard Central Rooftop Garden

The lush greenery, little waterfalls and whimsical statues also provide a lovely backdrop for a cute selfie or two.
